Our mission is to bring a real life solution to single use packaging in every home. No packaging belongs in landfill or in the sea, but at The Last Drop our bottles don’t belong in the recycling bin either!

We solve this with a deposit return scheme. It’s simple.

We give you 20p back for each and every bottle that we collect, so not only can you feel all warm and fuzzy knowing you’ve saved another plastic bottle from landfill or the waste recycling but you can save money on each and every bottle too!

That’ll automatically take 20p per return bottle off of your order.
Using the form at checkout tell us where you’ll be leaving your empties (doorstep/garage/other safe place).
Box up your empties and attach the address label that we’ve emailed to you.
If you’re in our Bristol, Bath and Somerset free delivery catchment then your empty bottles will be taken at the same time as deliving your fresh ones. Everywhere else in Mainland UK collection will potentially fall on a different day so please check the date on the postal info we forward to you.
We’re working to make the returns process easier, this will happen as we grow. The next step is adding Supermarket lockers such as InPost.

We grew up in Somerset and forged our fun in the mountains of Scotland and Wales or the beaches of Cornwall and North Devon. Casting our net further, we had the time of our lives in the French and Japanese Alps but every year we saw the effects of rising temperatures and from mountain to coast we saw what remained of our rejected bottles, bags and everyday lifestyles.

Whenever we could, we fought to reuse which can be difficult on the move. Kelly even used the same unwanted apple carrier left behind from a guest at the lodge (shout out to the Phatty!) for her daily Onsen (Japanese hot steam baths) bag for 5 months!

At home in the UK we made use of our local refill shop for all of our shampoo, laundry liquid, washing up and cleaning essentials.

No, neither do we (we’re far too fresh faced for that) but we have it on good authority (Papa Last Drop) that soda and beverage producers such as Corona would give you money back for every bottle you returned.

So with that in mind and with the government looking to begin consultation on the return of a deposit return sheme back in 2018, we thought, surely we can just do that ourselves!
Deposit returns have proven to drastically improve the number of materials being saved from landfill. In germany it has taken the PET bottle return to over 98%…Currently in the UK we sit at less than 40%…
HOWEVER we don’t plan on leaching our bottles back into the recycling system no no no no, we clean and prep them ourselves, refill them and get them straight back out to the doorstep.

So instead of these cool kids, your courier or postie will be dropping your parcels of prefilled gorgeousness…or little old me in Somerset, Bristol and Bath.
And rather than pop, you get amazing hair, skin, body care and cleaning products. All made in the UK, cruelty free, packed with active ingredients and essential oils.
But with the same aim, to reuse our packaging and operate a closed loop supply throughout our processes.
